Hey! Instead of making this section one long paragraph about myself, I thought I'd spice it
up a little (not a lot) and do a Q&A!!
Q: IS YOUR NAME REALLY JUJU?
A: Nope, my name is actually Julia. Juju is just a nickname I was given by a toddler I used to babysit.
Q: HOW OLD ARE YOU?
A: I'm nineteen years old.
Q: WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
A: Chicago, Illinois
Q: WHY THE NAME "GOOD JUJU"?
A: Juju is a nickname I was given by a 3-year old boy I used to babysit, and even though no one but him calls me it, I thought it would be a great name for this blog! I thought this because not only is Juju a great nickname but it also is defined as a "supernatural power attributed to a charm" which I think is a really cool thing. But why not take it up a notch?! I knew that I had heard of Bad Juju, however, I didn't think that would be the best choice for a blog that's supposed to bring happiness. So, I thought what's the opposite of bad juju? Duh! Good Juju! So I researched Good Juju and found out that it actually has a very cool definition. Good Juju is defined as "the energy of a happy, helpful, healing, peaceful, and protective form"; AKA the perfect name for this blog, so here we are.
Q: WHY'D YOU DECIDE TO MAKE A BLOG?
A: The reason I decided to make this blog was that I thought "why not"? I've always wanted to make a blog not because I thought I would have any sort of audience, but because I want to use it as an outlet to express creativity. Graphic design and writing have always been passions of mine and even though I'm not the best at either one of those things, I thought a lifestyle blog would be a perfect place to combine them. A place to write about things that interest me no matter if anyone is reading or not.
Q: WHAT'RE 4 FUN FACTS ABOUT YOU?
A: 1) I have a really small thumb (like Megan Fox)
2) I changed my aesthetic every year of high school
3) I went to a French preschool
4) My dog has heterochromia
